It's all a big blur.
Appointments, school, yard work, cooking, cleaning and driving.
The kids went on vacation this week, so I waged war on the bugs while they were gone. I bought real spray (as opposed to hair spray), stripped the beds, and sprayed the whole upstairs.
I went thrifting and got a few things for fall. At the thrift store, a lady walked past me, put a sweater in my arms and said, "Here, this is cute, you can have it."
Thanks, I hate it.
But I bought it ($1) because I didn't have it in me to put it back on the rack in front of her. Sigh.
Being alone for many days in a row is so foreign to me. I realized that the only time I spoke today was to say "thank you" to the cashier at the store.
It's not terrible, mostly because I know it's temporary. But I don't think I'd like it if it lasted much longer.
There's a convention in town for the Law Tigers. Specifically lawyers who only deal with motorcycle accidents. They have events, rallies, group rides.
I don't know what to make of that. Is it fun or opportunistic?
I watched The Blind, the movie about Phil Robertson's life. He had a Saul/Paul experience, sort of like my own. He said that reading about Paul in the Bible made him feel a little better. I have thought the same thing.
Like, okay, I'm not out here murdering Christians so if God can forgive and then use Paul for his glory, then he can most certainly use me.
