Things are slowwww. Kids are off school for two weeks and are spending time with family. I've had a lot of time to do some things around here that normally get overlooked. Like cleaning out my closet. I finally went through my clothes and donated all the things that didn't serve me anymore. The free space feels so good. Now I get to go thrifting to get a few fall/winter items!
Tailbone pain is completely gone! It took a full three weeks and got worse before it got better but then decided to disappear overnight. I'm a bit surprised, after reading so many people saying it takes months. I thank God who answered my prayers!
This weekend, I'll have about 10 guest coming over, my children and maybe a friend or two, to go over detailed wedding plans. Here we are with September practically being over. The countdown to wedding day begins!
The weather had taken it's turn towards fall. Yayyyy. No more 90s. I think.
Outside my window
Dogs are running the full length of the porch and sounding like a herd of elephants, rather than dogs.
I am thinking
Mostly that I need to stay off the internet. The news is as bad as I've ever seen in my life. So much confusion, hate, stupidity and fear. My nervous system is screaming at me.
I am thankful for
No pain, Praise God!
In the kitchen
Lots going on in preparation for a very full house. I'm doing everything that can be done ahead of time, to make things easy and peaceful.
I am reading
1 Corinthians. God turns the world's wisdom upside down. What seems weak or foolish is where His power is revealed.
I am hearing
A very quiet morning, besides the trampling on the porch. No kids, no yard work, just the sound of birds and the wind in the trees.
I am going
Get a few dozen yard eggs for our breakfasts this week
I am excited about
Having all my children together for a few months until the oldest goes back to Alaska and another gets married and moves away.
