The Unnamed Ones

"The brood of evildoers shall never be named" -Isaiah 14:20

I read that this morning, and it stopped me.

I can be quite the conspiracy theorist. Slipping down rabbit holes, until I'm engulfed in darkness.

I don't do it anymore. I've got enough emotion without adding to it.

There's so much in our world that feels unseen but not unknown- things whispered about in podcasts and videos, but mostly passed around in theories. We hear about the "elites", the global rulers, the powers behind the scenes- those who seem to hate humanity, silence truth, and profit from destruction.

And yet... no one really knows their names. Oh sure, we get a glimpse sometimes. Whatever they want to give. Enough to satisfy the masses. But never the Truth.

But God knows.

"Nothing is hidden, that will not be made known" - Matthew 10:26

"Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, And their works are in the dark; They say,"Who sees us?" and, "Who knows us?" -Isaiah 29:15

This is nothing new. The world has always had those who try to build their own kingdom without God. They mock Truth, silence the righteous, and exalt themselves above all.

They wont last. This is a promise. And they won't be remembered in Heaven.

"The brood of evildoers shall never be named"

I get great comfort in that

While they move in shadow, we walk in light. They destroy. We are restored. They hide their names. Ours are written in Heaven.

"See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands" -Isaiah 49:16

"Rejoice that your names are written in the Lambs Book of Life" -Luke 10:20

If you sense things are not right in this world, you're not wrong. Don't get caught up in the fear, theories, or frustration. Instead- cling to Truth.

Don't panic.

Stay grounded. Stay kind. Stay watchful. And above all, stay close to Him.

Let their names be erased
